Michigan State guard Victoria Lucas-Perry is one of 18 finalists for a spot on the United States team that will compete in the FIBA Americas U20 championships, Aug. 9-13 in Mexico City. She competed in three days of trials with 37 other athletes. The 18 will be pared to 12 in a training camp in July. Spartans coach Joanne P. McCallie will coach the team in the qualifier for next year's U21 world championship in Guatemala City.
