TEAM HIGHLIGHTS — Since Jan. 29, no team other than Ohio State has beaten the Spartans. & MSU shoots 76 percent from the foul line. & Victories this season over Rutgers and Oklahoma. & Outrebounds opponents by 5.9 a game. & Liz Shimek and Lindsay Bowen are top two scorers in program history. & Aisha Jefferson, a freshman playing with torn cartilage in her shoulder, scored a team-high 16 in MSU's victory over Kentucky in the NCAA's second round.

TEAM LOWLIGHTS — While MSU is 14-1 at home, it's just 10-8 away from home. & MSU is 2-7 against teams currently ranked in the top 15. & Seven losses by at least 10 points, including three by 20 or more. & Over the final four minutes of its victory against Kentucky, MSU committed three turnovers and didn't make a field goal, but it held on.

BET YOU DIDN'T KNOW — Michigan State has been known by six different names since it was founded in 1855. It was originally called Agricultural College of the State of Michigan
