Spanish La Liga side Athletic Bilbao will come to the KC this summer to take on the Tigers in a pre-season friendly.

Hull City fans knew of Premiership side Aston Villa visiting the KC for a friendly but the opponents of the second home friendly were still unknown.

It has now been announced that Spanish side Athletic Bilbao will be those opponents.

This has been a major coup for Adam Pearson and Hull City. Many fans expected another Premiership team to visit the KC this summer but to be able to attract a top European side is a great achievement for the club.

The visit of such illustrious opponents will ensure a large crowd will flock to the KC to watch the game and it will be a great test for the Tigers players.

The match will take place at the KC stadium on the 29th July with a standard 3p.m kick-off.

Tickets are priced at £10 for adults and £5 for concessions. Further news and previews will take place nearer the time of the game.
